I started Tarheel State Bookkeeping to serve small business owners with personalized care, clarity, and integrity.

I started out my career with various CPA firms, and I saw the same pattern over and over. Smart, passionate business owners feeling overwhelmed by their books, unsure of their numbers, and stressed about staying compliant. Bookkeeping was either an afterthought or a constant source of anxiety. I knew there had to be a better way.

So I built a firm focused on accuracy, transparency, and real partnership.
